The Longest Study on Happiness
"There isn't time, so brief is life, for bickerings, apologies, heartburnings, callings to account. There is only time for loving, and but an instant, so to speak, for that." ~ Mark Twain
When men from various walks of life were studied over the course of their lives, from their teen years until their deaths, there was one common factor that most strongly predicted their longevity. It wasn't cholesterol levels. It wasn't affluence nor education levels. The clearest message from this 75-year study: relationships have the biggest impact on our health, memory and happiness.
